Finally, another video assignment!
It's not our bread and butter, but every time jobs like this come in, the lights go on for us. We're talking about the rare opportunity to work in video and motion design.
And of course, the best thing for us is when brilliant customers like Koch Gebäudereinigung give us free rein. #Wildcard!!!
Of course, with such a spectacle, we (Celine and Patrick) didn't take long to turn this project into a creative, passion project. Well, we decided to take a slightly satirical approach to the whole thing and put on the event with the e-carts in the style of Formula 1. A bit more epic, a bit more cheeky.
Our tools? A GoPro, an honest and friendly smile, gimbals and - hold on tight - our iPhones. Yes, our everyday companions are true all-rounders and we took advantage of that. The shots we took with them turned out really nice. Patrick was particularly taken with the cinema mode! In the right hands, you can produce some sick shit with an iPhone (in a positive sense, of course... duh).
After recomposing the track to our liking with the help of Taki, adding quick edits and trying out a trendy effect or two, it was done.
The result? A video that knocks the viewer's socks off. We staged Koch Gebäudereinigung in a completely new way and made no compromises.
We can hardly wait to see what comes next. The best stories come from pure enthusiasm and that's exactly what we love at Wagemut . Maybe your assignment will be our next video motion design project? ;)
