Cantina Milano

Were we able to inspire you with our work?
Tell us briefly and concisely about your project. It doesn't matter whether you only have a rough idea or a sophisticated concept. We look forward to hearing from you and then let's have a chat!

The creative process
In our latest case study, we take you on a wild ride of creative ideas and unexpected twists and turns.
Not always, but sometimes - as in this particular case with Cantina Milano - we start with a clear vision that the client has inspired us with the briefing. With fire and flames we start the project, develop moods and work far beyond that, driven by the dopamine that this creative boost, a design high, gives us.
But who would have thought that we would have to throw everything overboard and set out like detectives in search of the perfect design solution?
As we lose ourselves in the depths of the creative process, we sometimes find our own paths that take us off the original route. And you know what? That's a good thing! Because it's here, in this loop of experimentation and discovery, that the best ideas are born. See exhibit A the design that runs along on the right.
Let us let you in on a little secret - sometimes the journey is just as exciting as the destination. It's as if we're looking for a treasure without knowing where it's buried. Well, the customers try to tell us where it's buried. But they blindfold us, give us a spoon to dig with and give us instructions over the loudspeaker systems in Deutsche Bahn stations.
But when we find it, the treasure - our goal - it feels like we've conquered the world.
In our case study you can see that even if we leave the path we've taken and work on something completely different together with our customers, two brilliant designs come out of it. One will go online at the end of the day and the other exists only in our memory... well, or in this case study. Because at the end of the day, it's about creating something that everyone involved is happy with. Sometimes that means that our own preference takes a back seat but at the end of the day it's not our website and as they say, "Customer is king!"
Join us on this journey and be surprised by the unexpected twists and turns and the surprising results. Because there are no fixed rules in design - just endless possibilities and a lot of fun along the way.
