Challenge accepted - and mastered!
LMO, the somewhat different project.
Some projects are special right from the start - not just because of the creative challenge, but because of the people behind them. Laser Me Out was just such a case. Our client had already worked with several designers - but none of them were able to realize her vision. Her standards were high, her view critical. Not an obstacle for us, but an invitation: Challenge accepted!
Instead of just starting to design, we first held a workshop to dive deep into the brand. What should Laser Me Out radiate? What should resonate with the user? It quickly became clear: loud, uncompromising, "in your face" - no half measures! To make this direction tangible, we developed three moods, the boldest of which won the race.
The first design phase was a creative firework display. Neo-brutalism at its best, full of energy, with bold colors, hard typography and maximum presence. But after the first draft came the first big learning curve: too loud, too extreme, too direct. A real balancing act - the brand needed to be provocative, but not off-putting. So we refined the look, sharpened the edges instead of blunting them.
At the same time, there was a second challenge: the text. Originally written (in our opinion) as a comprehensive brochure, it was adopted 1:1 for the website. Our experience told us straight away that this wouldn't work. But sometimes you have to go along with the process - so we initially incorporated the text as requested. It was only when the project was almost finished that the client herself came to the realization: Too much, too text-heavy, not user-friendly. Together we reduced, structured and focused on the essentials - for a smooth user flow and a site that feels as dynamic as the branding itself.
Throughout the process, we created not just a visual concept, but a complete brand experience. From the bold color concept to the perfectly coordinated typography to the creative use of 3D line art assets, every detail was designed to work digitally but also endure in real life. Whether on advertising spaces, print materials or packaging - the design lives on.
Laser Me Out wanted a unique, bold look - and that's exactly what we delivered. It was a journey full of challenges, adjustments and perfected details. But that's exactly what our work is all about: We listen, analyze, push creative boundaries and find the perfect balance between vision and feasibility. The result? A brand that doesn't hide, but speaks for itself - loudly, confidently and unmistakably.
